30 weeks and 1 day pregnant!!
Originally, this little blog was on blogger.com, and while there is nothing wrong with that site, I just felt that this needed to live here. And so it does.
Today was picture day at Holy Family! Richard was so excited to have his picture taken with his class, and I got so wrapped up in his excitement I was a very daring mother. Why is that? Well, I told him he could pick whatever outfit he wanted. I know, I know, I'm insane. He picked out a yellow t-shirt that he wore under a button up shirt with fishes on it, that and dark blue pants. I think he looks pretty snappy, but all that really matters is he felt he looked really snappy and he was a happy camper.
I spent the morning at church, as is the way it's been every Tuesday and Thursday for a while now. I have a wonderful Catechism tutor, Mr. Kasmara, who drives in from Missauga twice a week to help me muddle through all there is to know before I'm finally accepted to Holy Family later this month and I'm Confirmed. I've been studying for this since last fall, and I've been getting these tutoring sessions since the spring. I'm so ready. Chris and I are getting married in the church, and a lot of people laugh at that, since we were married in a civil service over 5 years ago. It just feels like the right thing to do, you know?
The baby has been kicking a lot and we're all really excited about that. On one hand I'm freaking out slightly because I was 3 weeks early with Richard and my doctor feels that it might be the same way this time around, and yet, a lot of people in my family are telling me that this one is going to come on time and it's going to be so much harder and such. I have no idea why they'd say things like that to me, but I guess that's how they feel. Obviously, I trust my doctor's judgment over my family's assumptions and everything's going to end up fine. :)
Richard and I have a handful of fun Haloweeen activities lined up this month at various libraries and I'm still searching for a few more things to bring him out to, he loves Halloween. I really hope we manage to find a Superman costume by next week because we have an appointment to have his Sears portraits done on Wednesday and if he hasn't got a costume, we've got an issue.
More later.
