32 weeks and 2 days pregnant!!

I have been ranting on to anyone who will listen about the new TTC weekly pass. It's $30, for unlimited travel. And since a strip of 10 tickets for Richard is only $4.50, we're laughing, and we're all over the place, I LOVE IT. Okay, okay, enough.

I'm just weeks away from being accepted into the Catholic church, as all that's needed now is some boring paperwork. :D I'm really excited about it, because it's been over a year of studying for this and finally, I'm almost there. I mean, obviously, I am aware that the study and the drive to know and do more doesn't go away once the process of conversion is complete, it's a lifelong en devour, but getting to the point where I can study and explore and also be able to go to confession and receive communion is huge for me. Plus, Richard will be receiving his first communion next year, and how funny would it be for him to get his before I do? I think my dear, dear friend Brigitte because even though she may not be aware, she was/is a large part of this journey for me. :)

Baby is moving around a lot and I'm feeling quite bunched up. A lot of the females in my family LOVE to bug me about how easy my pregnancy was with Richard and how much harder this one is. I have no idea why they'd want to make me feel uncomfortable (yes, YOU), but at the same time, even they can't possibly have any idea what this birth is going to be like based on the pregnancy. Richard's pregnancy was fairly easy and so was his birth. This time around the pregnancy is more difficult, but I can't accept that that just means by default this birth is also going to be more difficult. And, as I've been thinking and not saying, since Richard's birth has been classified as 'easy', and it was only 20 minutes long, I figure that a birth twice as long wouldn't be 'easy' and it would still be under an hour. Heh. I truly believe that other than medical issues, it's all in your head. I may have to correct myself on this one if I keep thinking positive and I'm giving birth for 20 hours.

Richard is very very excited about Halloween, most of all about his costume. We had his Sears portraits done last Wednesday, and once they were finished, he walked around Sherway Gardens (the mall) for the rest of the day as Superman. It was very funny, and very cute. Since then he's been asking to wear it everyday. So I've been on the hunt for Halloween parties that he can wear his costume to. I've found several, and most of next week will be spent going from one party to another. He's going to love it. I promise to take tons of photos.

And a last note, Richard had his school photos taken a couple of weeks ago, and we'll send them out to you as soon as we get them in (same goes for the Sears portraits, being picked up on next week).
